Patients will benefit from enhanced specialty pharmacy services, supportive treatment services, clinical trials and more.
The UK Markey Cancer Center at Lexington Clinic collaboration will change the billing for some of our patients. For those patients currently receiving services in Richmond, beginning June 24 you will receive your bills from UK instead of from Lexington Clinic. For those patients currently receiving medical oncology and infusion services in Lexington there will be changes to your bills beginning June 24. Lexington Clinic Cancer Center providers and physicians will provide services within the UK Markey Cancer Center at Lexington Clinic. For patients receiving care on the Lexington Clinic campus, your providers will remain the same throughout the duration of your care. If you are eligible for advanced cancer care and/or clinical trials, you may need to receive that treatment on the UK campus. For those patients receiving care on UK’s campus, your medical oncologist may still be a part of your treatment plan and will oversee and monitor your treatments.
