Have you received two statements from Lexington Clinic in the mail?

« Return to News

Don’t worry, it’s not a mistake if you have. As Lexington Clinic transitions to a new patient portal, changes will be made to the current billing system and because of these changes, patients may receive two statements in the mail for charges.

  • If a patient has unpaid balances in the system from an appointment or medical services that occurred prior to December 13, they will receive a bill for those balances from the old billing system.
  • If a patient has an appointment or receives medical services after December 13, they will receive a bill for those balances from the new billing system.
  • Some patients may have multiple appointments both prior to and after December 13 – these patients may receive two bills. One bill for the services that occurred prior to December 13, and one bill for services after.

Should patients receive multiple statements in the mail, they will need to pay these statements separately. If you have any questions about your statements, how to pay your statements or the transition to a new patient portal and billing system, please call (859) 258-6000 or visit www.lexingtonclinic.com/onlinebillpay.html.
