Lexington Clinic dietitian services guides patients through any and all of their nutritional needs. Bethany Borders, RD, LD, CDE is a Certified Diabetes Educator and Erin Torres, RD, LD is a registered dietician and both work with all patients seeking nutritional guidance. For patients with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes, our dietitians provide instructional classes to provide patients with the right information, tools and support needed to manage diabetes.

Diabetes Group Class Calendar

The mission of the Lexington Clinic Diabetes Education Program is to provide comprehensive, evidence based diabetes self management education to our patients and community. We are committed to the development of individualized patient education plans created jointly by our educational staff, healthcare providers and patients to improve overall health outcomes. We strive to encourage our patients in self care management by equipping them with the knowledge and community resources to maintain optimal diabetes control and to reduce risk of complications from diabetes.

Physician referrals are required for dietitian services and group diabetes classes. Attendees must enroll prior to the class start date by calling (859) 258-4032.
