Our Physical Therapists are dedicated to healing patients with a variety of orthopedic and sports injuries. Starting with a thorough evaluation to find the root cause of the problem, the Physical Therapy team is experienced in musculoskeletal conditions, particularly for shoulder and scapular dysfunction. The Physical Therapy team is able to accommodate our patients’ schedules with flexible hours and will perform comprehensive, customized in-clinic and home rehabilitation. Our Physical Therapists stay connected and participate in continuing education to learn the latest and most effective treatments to provide the best care for our patients. Robin Cromwell, P.T. Specialty: Shoulder and scapular rehabilitation, functional rehabilitation, sports and work rehabilitation
Robin has been with Lexington Clinic since 1989. She has been instrumental in the development and implementation of the Lexington Clinic approach to shoulder rehabilitation. This approach is centered on the position, motion, and control of the scapula and incorporates trunk, hip, and leg motion in the therapeutic exercise for shoulder dysfunction. Robin has delivered presentations and workshops on this truly functional approach to shoulder rehabilitation at the Lexington Clinic annual shoulder symposium and as a guest lecturer throughout the United States and in Italy.
Miemie Dorfling, P.T. Specialty: Musculoskeletal manual therapy and spine and peripheral joint rehabilitation
Originally from South Africa, Miemie joined Lexington Clinic in 2004. She has 29 years of experience in musculoskeletal manual therapy and spine and peripheral joint rehabilitation. She is a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy Association.
Daun Karolich, P.T.Specialty: Biomechanical principles and manual therapy in spine and peripheral joint rehabilitation
Daun joined Lexington Clinic in 2002 and is the most experienced of our clinical physical therapists. She has a strong background in biomechanical principles, as well as manual therapy skills.
Mark Kluemper, P.T. Specialty: Shoulder function and rehabilitation, sports and work rehabilitation
Mark joined Lexington Clinic physical therapy staff in 2004. Mark brings a unique point of view to the physical therapy staff and its perspective on shoulder function and rehabilitation as he was an NCAA Division 1 swim coach for 9 years.
Jeff Mitchell, P.T., C.M.P.Specialty: Orthopedic and manual therapy, and functional rehabilitation, Certified Mulligan Practitioner
Jeff joined Lexington Clinic in 2002 after graduating from the University of Kentucky. He left Lexington Clinic in 2008 for a year aboard and returned in a part-time capacity in 2009.
Jesse C. Neiheisel, P.T., cert. M.D.T.Specialty: Certified in the McKenzie method of mechanical diagnosis and therapy
Certified in the McKenzie method of mechanical diagnosis and therapy, Jesse joined Lexington Clinic in January 2009. Jesse has a special interest in spine therapy and specializes in the evaluation and rehabilitation of spinal derangement and dysfunction using the McKenzie method.
Jason Neufeld, D.P.T.Specialty: Orthopedic and manual therapy, and functional rehabilitation
Jason joined Lexington Clinic in 2010 after graduating from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri. Jason was a collegiate baseball player and has a professional interest in rehabilitation of overhead athletes.
Ryan Voynar, P.T.Specialty: Orthopedic and manual therapy, return-to-work and functional rehabilitation.
Ryan joined Lexington Clinic in 2008 after graduating from the University of Kentucky. He worked, as part of the Lexington Clinic partnership, at the Team Member Evaluation Center at the Toyota Motor Manufacturing Plant in Georgetown, Kentucky until 2010 when he transferred to Lexington Clinic Orthopedics-Sports Medicine Center.

Denise Polnisch, P.T., C.M.P.Specialty: Orthopedic and manual therapy, including functional therapy, and a Certified Mulligan Practitioner
Denise joined Lexington Clinic in 2002, practicing at the Lexington Clinic East location. After graduating from the University of Louisville physical therapy program, Denise specializes in orthopedic and manual therapy including functional therapy and is a Certified Mulligan Practitioner.
