Continuing Medical Education at Lexington Clinic

Welcome to the Continuing Medical Education section at Lexington Clinic. Lexington Clinic is accredited by the Kentucky Medical Association to provide AMA PRA Category 1 Credits ™ CME credits. Continuing Medical Education is guided by the CME Committee chaired by Shailendra Chopra, MD, MRCP, FRCR and assisted by representative physicians from various specialties and sections.

The purpose of the Continuing Medical Education section is to develop and provide high quality educational activities and programs. The purpose of these programs is to assist physicians and other medical professionals to maintain their skills, develop new areas of competence and to keep their medical knowledge current. Lexington Clinic develops CME events based on an ongoing needs assessment of its own members, literature searches, and information from colleagues and the community.
